L’austérité frappe l’armée espagnole

Mais le plus drôle c’est un article que j’ai lu sur les exilés cubains accueillis par l’Espagne, aujourd’hui SDF et qui veulent retourner à.... Cuba !!!! Loin de trouver une nation prospère, les dissidents cubains ont été frappés de plein fouet par la crise économique qui affecte l’Espagne. La plupart d’entre eux se trouve sans emploi, sans ressources et parfois même sans toit, restant à la charge des centres d’accueil de la Croix Rouge. Selon la presse ibérique, « un an après leur arrivée, les exilés ont peu à peu perdu les aides du Gouvernement et se retrouvent sans ressources, puisque l’immense majorité d’entre eux n’a pas trouvé d’emploi stable ».
Le nouveau gouvernement espagnol de droite a décidé de mettre fin à l’aide accordée aux dissidents cubains un an après leur arrivée et a refusé de la prolonger de douze mois supplémentaires comme cela était prévu au départ, pour des raisons économiques . En effet, l’Espagne a dépensé une moyenne de 2 000 euros par mois et par personne, soit plus de 18 millions d’euros pour subvenir aux besoins des 115 dissidents accompagnés de 647 membres de leur famille pendant un an. Le coût a été jugé trop élevé dans un pays qui compte près de 5 millions de chômeurs, c’est-à-dire environ 25% de la population active.
Contre toute attente, plusieurs dissidents ont fait part de leur volonté de rentrer à Cuba, à défaut de pouvoir se rendre aux Etats-Unis, accusant l’Espagne d’abandon . « Il vaut mieux être à Cuba qu’ici dans la rue », a déclaré Ismara Sánchez . « Depuis le 31 mars, je suis à la rue », faute de pouvoir se payer un logement, s’est plainte Idalmis Núñez. « La situation est difficile : nous avons emmené nos familles loin de la maison et nous ne pouvons pas leur donner à manger. Pour la première fois de ma vie, j’ai un cas de conscience. J’ai peur », a admis un autre opposant . « Les enfants n’ont plus de nourriture et n’ont plus de lait. Les enfants ne peuvent plus se rendre à l’école parce qu’ils n’ont pas l’argent pour le transport », a exprimé l’opposant Bermúdez.
